Sales partners · 1099 independent contractors

Own the relationships. Earn on every placement.

Black Horn Gaming recruits independent commission sales representatives to source new host locations. You open doors; we install, service and support the equipment. You choose how you get paid: a flat $500 referral fee per location, or an ongoing 10% monthly residual if you take on the accounting and service.

The opportunity

A flat fee, or a residual. Your call.

$500 per location

Flat referral fee for every qualified location you place, paid one month after the machines go in. Nothing further required from you.

10% monthly residual

The alternative: 10% of net revenue after the location’s split, every month, if you handle that location’s accounting and in-person service calls.

First to place, first to earn

Territory is not carved up or reserved. Whoever places a location earns on that location — so there is nothing to wait for.

No inventory, no capital

You never buy or hold equipment. No trucks, no install crews, no financing — that's our side of the deal.

Who fits

If you already know retail owners, you're most of the way there.

  • Route sales and DSD reps calling on convenience stores and markets
  • ATM, vending, kiosk and payments reps
  • Restaurant and c-store distributors
  • POS and merchant services reps
  • Insurance and B2B closers who like a residual model
  • Anyone with real relationships with retail owners in the states we operate in

This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not employment. You control your hours and your methods.

What you do — and don't do

You do: identify and introduce host locations, explain the offer at a high level, and hand off to our team for the agreement, licensing and install.

You don't: quote legal or licensing conclusions, promise revenue figures, handle machines, collect money, or sign agreements on our behalf.

Some activities in some states may require licensure or registration. [REP LICENSING REQUIREMENTS — legal review required per state]

How it works

Four steps to your first payout.

  1. Apply

Send the application below. We review territory fit and existing relationships.

  2. Onboard & train

Contractor agreement, commission schedule in writing, product and compliance training so you pitch it correctly.

  3. Source locations

Work your relationships. Submit locations through your rep contact; we qualify, paper and install.

  4. Earn

Either the $500 referral fee one month after placement, or a 10% monthly residual for as long as you service that location. You pick the track per location.

Commission structure

Two ways to get paid. Pick one per location.

Both tracks are open to every partner from day one — there is no ranking to climb before you qualify. Choose per location, at the time you submit it.

Commission tracks for independent sales and referral partners
TrackWhat you earn When it paysWhat it requires of you
Referral $500 per qualified location, one time One month after the machines are placed Introduce the location. Nothing after that.
Operating partner 10% of net revenue after the host location’s split, monthly Monthly, for as long as you service the location You handle that location’s accounting and its in-person service calls.

Territory

Non-exclusive. The first partner to place a location earns on that location. No zones are reserved, and no minimum keeps or loses one.

If a location closes

The $500 is yours once paid. The residual is tied to the work — it continues while you service the location and stops when you don’t.

Consistent volume

Partners producing steady placements can renegotiate terms directly with the Operating Director rather than move through a published tier.

Nothing on this page is a representation or guarantee of earnings. Actual earnings depend on the locations you place and how those machines perform, and figures are governed by your signed contractor agreement. “Net revenue” means collections from the machine after the host location’s contractual share. Commission is paid on qualified placements only.

FAQ

Rep questions.

Am I an employee?

No. Sales representatives are 1099 independent contractors. You are responsible for your own taxes, expenses and business registration. You are not eligible for employee benefits and you control how and when you work. [CONTRACTOR TERMS — confirm with counsel]

Do I get a protected territory?

No — and we would rather say so plainly than imply otherwise. Territory is non-exclusive: the first partner to place a location earns on that location, and other partners may work the same city. There are no zones to be granted and no production minimum you can fall below and lose.

Do I need a licence to refer locations?

Referring a location is generally a business introduction. However, activities that go beyond introduction — such as negotiating agreements, handling equipment or handling proceeds — may trigger state licensing or registration requirements, and the rules differ by state. We'll tell you exactly what you may and may not do in your territory. [REP LICENSING REQUIREMENTS — legal review required per state]

What can I promise a store owner?

Never promise revenue figures, payouts, or legal outcomes. Explain the model — we supply and service the equipment at no capital cost to the location, with a written revenue-share agreement — and let our team confirm specifics for that state.

When do I get paid?

On the referral track, the $500 is paid one month after the machines are placed. On the operating-partner track, the 10% residual is paid monthly for as long as you are handling that location’s accounting and service calls.

Can I sell equipment too?

Yes — equipment sales and service leads are eligible for commission, quoted case by case. Equipment deals vary too much by machine type, quantity, and whether the sale is outright, leased or financed for a single rate to be fair to either side. Bring us the opportunity and we will agree the commission in writing before you work it, so you know what you are earning before you invest the time.
